Can you Match My Processing?
Have you ever tried to match the processing of a photo—starting from a RAW file, and making adjustments so your version matches the work of someone else? It will stretch your skills and teach you in ways working on your own photos can’t.
I credit a lot of my early growth to having to match photos through multiple projects with photographers who were way more experienced than me. That learning was vital, and I want to give you the chance to learn like I did by trying to match one of my photos.
I’m making the photo at the top of this email available for FREE on my Thinkific learning site. You can download the RAW file and a JPEG of my final edit. Your challenge is to edit the RAW to match the JPEG as closely as you can, using whatever software you choose. As you work out how to make it match, you’ll become more familiar with various editing tools and discover how they can work for you.
If you want to take this lesson further, on February 4 I have a special $25 one-night workshop where I’ll show you how I processed this image. I’ll also l give you my processed DNG file as a further learning example. If you can't make it for the live workshop, I can send you a link so you can watch it later.
I can't wait to see how this helps you grow!
