Lightroom Black-and-White Workshop
Black-and-white is about contrast, and that's a place Lightroom Classic has fallen short compared to Photoshop. But at long last, Lightroom Classic allows you to use curves when using masks, and that's a game changer.Curves are the most powerful contrast tool you can use, and being able to use multiple curves and use them with masks is a necessity for me. Curves are what make beautiful darkroom black-and-white prints, and that same effect can be used with digital editing to create beautiful results.
I'll show you how to do that in this one-day class, where I'll teach you my approach to black-and-white editing as it applies to Lightroom Classic. I'll show you Lightroom Classic's Achilles heel (and how to get around it), how to use curves like a darkroom master, and some new approaches for converting from color camera files to black-and-white.
This session will be recorded, with playback available for two months, allowing you to attend live, or watch the recording at a time convenient to you. Register today!
Black-and-White has been a driving passion of mine since my junior high days, and led me on some of the greatest adventures of my life. I'm so excited that Lightroom can finally produce results like Photoshop, and that I can share with you the approach that has allowed me to make stunning photos for myself and the discerning customers I worked for at West Coast Imaging. I'm looking forward to this exciting day of learning!
